OXFORD
Described as “The City of Dreaming Spires” with its world famous colleges and its Castle dating from 1071.  Take a themed walking tour around this fascinating city!

STRATFORD-UPON-AVON
The birthplace of William Shakespeare.  The town has many half timbered Tudor style houses and of course the famous Shakespeare Memorial Theatre.

CHELTENHAM
Britain’s most complete Regency town.  The birthplace of Gustav Holst, the composer of “The Planets” suite. His home is now a museum.  The Racecourse is home to the “Gold Cup” held every March and boasts 16 horse race meetings every year.

There are a multitude of charming honeycoloured stone villages and market towns that abound in the unspoilt Cotswolds:

Such as BURFORD, BOURTON-ON-THE-WATERUPPER and LOWER SLAUGHTER, and BIBURY. You will be spoilt for choice.

Each village offers a picturesque setting with historic churches, welcoming Inns and Pubs and a variety of attractions.

BURFORD is known as “The gateway to the Cotswolds” and is found at the Eastern boundary of the Cotswolds. Whereas, STOW-ON-THE-WOLD is located beside the Roman Fosse Way and is where the last battle of the civil war was fought in 1646. Both are a must for antique collectors and should not be missed.

Visit Historic and interesting places such as BLENHEIM PALACE,  the gift from Queen Anne to John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough after his historic victory at Blenheim in 1704. SULGRAVE MANOR is the home of George Washington’s ancestors. CHEDWORTH is a Romano-British Villa set in an Idyllic setting.

BLETCHLEY PARK was once Britain’s best kept secret and home of the Code Breakers of WW2.  Now at last open to the public.

SILVERSTONE Motor Racing Circuit is about one hour away and RAF FAIRFORD, home to the largest Air Tattoo in Europe is about 30 minutes away.
